In short, Maybach GLS is a variant (top of line trim and fully loaded with features) of the Mercedes GLS, not an independent model, unlike the Maybach S-Class.

Mercedes also has GLS600 with V12 in the lineup. Some will say GLS450 is for wannabe :D

The actual car bearing registration plate of SV48Y is indeed very well kept (>30 years old as of current). Can find this Accord around Tiong Bahru / Alexander / Clementi area.

These are not original 3rd gen Accord wheel cover, but from EG Civic LSi (if my memory don't fails me).

Often see this 4-door ER34 in my neighbourhood! Looks great with the clean style, those R33 GTR rims fit it amazingly as well!

A random question: do we have many diesel W124s, W201 (190) and W202s still on our roads?

And how does the older diesel MB engines for the models above compare to their petrol versions?

It is not about how cheap petrol price was, but the road tax for diesel car used to be 6 times that of a car running on petrol!

Using the W126 S Class for example, the road tax for 300SEL was about $5.25K/yr, for diesel 300SDL, it would be ~$31. 5K/yr!!

Iirc, population of diesel driven passenger car was <20 in total, before the road tax structure was revised to make it more diesel "friendly".

Road tax for diesel taxi was $7,700/year regardless of engine capacity.
