I think Nardi was never stock for mercedes so to draw a similar comparison, would put it earlier the 70s models. That would rule out w123/124/126s in my opinion. I am sure @ER-3682 can opine more on old mercedes In another similar topic this is how i personally classify vintage/classic cars vs retro cars. I think the 70s w124 is where i draw the line where it are no longer vintage but considered "retro". Or another word I would use is like, "late modern" maybe.
