I call the Wira a Lego car, with parts from different Mitsubishi models. 

Body of Lancer, front design from Mirage, and the best part, taillights from Galant.

I think UK sold Rover …. A failure , Japs sold Suzuki …. Stellar success…… Koreans went in and also succeeded…. Now Triumph and Royal Enfield is also made there …… Germans VW was the 1st one to enter China’s virgin market and did very well too  ….. so good that fakes ones started spawning 🤣🤣

More like just scavenging what parts the Japanese dumps at them in their partnership - can imagine their partnership to be rather one sided

Somehow this model is much rarer than the 1st, 2nd and even 4th gen version, and overseas collecters only started noticing it a few years back.

The last time I thought about the WIRA and wow, the front bumper so stylish. Then more than a decade later, I realise it wasn't their own design, it was plug from some Lancer Variant sold domestically in Japan. And to add, the rear taillights design of the WIRA were from the then Hatchback version of Galant.
