Registering a company and getting commercial vehicle

Hi guys , need your advise. Am looking to register a company , ARCA , so I could explore the options of buying a commercial vehicle. Wanna know the cons and complications behind if any. Pls feel free to leave comments

One of the biggest con that ppl doesnt tell you is that commercial vehicles are worthless when you try to sell it. Not only that there is also no demand for any used unit like a used car. The used commercial vehicle dealer will only offer you paper value and since the commercial vehicle has NO PARF value to speak of so only what's left of the coe value is what you get.

Imo it is a better option to lease a commercial vehicle here in sg. Any time you run into financial trouble you just return the vehicle to the leasing company w/o incurring a big debt.

Unless you are paying in full cash I will advise ppl to stay away from buying any commercial vehicles used or new.

Your own vehicle you have to take care. Can speed limited.

 

Better to use Bluebird Sg (now can go X-country) or GetGo.  No speed limit, no worries!

Technically not correct but alot of people are doing it. My dad and his friends used to do that.

ACRA don't care if you have business or not. 

The only one interested is IRAS because it wants to make sure you don't short change ah gong with your income from lalamove/grab whatever...

Weekday drive yourself. Rent out during weekend to part time delivery drivers. Then you can earn some income for your company and the business becomes legit. Best of both worlds!
