@Philipkee too.

Probably need thousand of years for reinforced concrete structure to collapsed naturally for building constructed up to BCA requirement and have good foundation.

Load are spread though the columns and beams in all concrete structures.  Even with some floor or walls gone the structure will still stand.

We can see many such structures in MY unfinished buildings 🤣 standing ugly along the road.

Many years ago, I was lying in my flat when the block started swaying. It wasn't that bad but it was bad enough that I started to wonder if my block would collapse.  But not bad enough to get me beyond the wondering stage and actually run out of the flat.

Turned out there was an earthquake in Indonesia and I was feeling the shockwave from there.

Yes, I am a chicken.

I would be scared too.

Our buildings should be fine.

Concrete is strong and rigid, but the rebars provide the tensile strength to the structure. So the buildings has that bit of "flex"

说一句公道话, TC says it’s wear and tear and taichi away is totally BS, then we pay S&CC for what. And the driver 8k repair is also too much lar. Just reduce the claim amount and TC pays then case closed.

honestly this is a very poor response from TC.

Jalan Besar TC? Can go find MP.
