I see idiots in my estate buying a $200k car, or a conti car, just to tiap the lalamove decal and use the vehicle for lalamove - full time or part time, I don't know. Then because it's so-called "tough times", they just dump their vehicles downstairs at loading bay or along the estate service road while they go back home upstairs to wait for the job order to come in. 

Had to burn away a whole week's worth of their income by giving them parking tickets until they learn how to play nice and not inconvenience others.

Of course. I will most likely only do on weekends outside of my weekday job. It won't be my main source of income.

I tried my first trips today, and honestly, not easy. The orders come in very fast and you gotta be quick to decide whether you can and willing to take on the job or not before it gets 'snatched'. Sometime got no suitable job then you gotta wait a while until something pops up.

I donw know how it works , you may want to wait around those  higher demand area to speed up your response and pick up time?

It's a bit hard. They throw you the jobs randomly and you gotta quickly 'snatch' if you want it. You cannot really sort them by area.

If you want a bit more predictability then you can take those advance jobs (those that are not immediate, but scheduled for a bit later). Then you can slowly make your way there. But you still need to have a good estimate of your travel time, otherwise you might end up waiting for a fair bit before the job starts.

You can try for flower delivery. There is a bunch of shop around the Tai Seng area that pools delivery.

Most of them will state what they're delivering in the order, so you gotta take a look first before you accept.

So far most of the stuff I delivered are food. Not too bulky kind.

I think big bulky goods they will give to van/lorry. If you using car they won't give you those heavy jobs.

I quit Lalamove early this year. Lesser car jobs than when I joined 2 years ago and not worth to take motorcycle jobs because you have to pay for parking if you wait beyond grace period. Some locations also do not have proper parking area and you have to take the risk to leave your car by the roadside to dash in to collect order. 

Not worth the stress and anxiety in doing Lalamove car.

my friend do it with his motorbike on freelance basis as and when he free (he got no fixed full time job though). The thing is he didn't choose, just grab whatever pop out, income not bad according to him. Yes jobs get snatched up very fast.

Why don't you give up your vehicle n take public transport? Saves you all the trouble n stress
