Not much to check as cars are fresh off the boat with no stocks .. only part is if the sales provide u with free rear camera, the contractor may have drop the hood liner but did not stuff it back to the holder .

Besides the official freebies from BYD from buying Atto 3, are there any additional freebies ( free rear camera, etc)  or cash discount that one can get from sales representative? 🙏

Let's say you work for any company as a sales person, other than what your company give to all customers, what are you going to give to your own customers out of pocket? Let's say there are 10 customers in a month alone. What will you give them?

@Watwheels  Not a car sales person, just seeking past BYD buyers to share if their past experience. That all, not interested in what sales person can sell how many cars in 1 month and what he can afford to give customer?

Your question isnt clear what.

What you are asking is the list of free items the car company is giving away to all customers?

Is that so difficult to phrase it?

Fyi what the sales person give away are all given by the car company. There are no extra stuff if that's what you are looking for. Maybe waterbottle or shopping bags but nothing expensive.

From my limited car buying experience, different car dealers work differently with some working on commission basis thus able to give more freebies or extra discount like $500 depending on how hungry the agents are. Of course for those that draw on fix salary, we can expect nothing more than the standard freebies provided by the company. And if you get insurance or car loan, there might be some kickbacks in cash or freebie so really upto buyers to ask. With some car buyers, even free car mat can also make them happy to go ahead and buy. Nothing wrong as is their money and they get to decide.

So unless you are very familiar or have personal experience with this dealer to share, then don't bother to waste time here lah. Good if what you just shared is from above sources, just state clearly. Nothing against you do not misunderstand my intention as this forum is for sharing so anything is really appreciated.

A lot of salespeople chase after volume incentive (if there is).

They will even give you their comm as discount.

typical is 1 year road tax, insurance seems to be a the usual discount, front trunk , rear view camera , retention plate transfer, higher over trade , see if can reduce the loan amount to 30K and 1 year ,  find a bro here who has bought and u can use his / her car plate to get additional 1 K of service voucher

the usual freebies is ceramic coating and window tint

They known to be C&G for BYD

the blade batt is known n calculated under 3rd party research environment to last 7500 charge cycles.. and that can last anything from 35 years to 95 years, depending on how much you abused the ride.

Batteries which make up 30% to 40% of the cost of making a BEV is expected to half by end of this year.  BYD makes their own batteries for their BEV vehicles. 

BYD isn't the only one suffering in China. Other Chinese BEV manufacturers are under the pump and most will either go bankrupt or merge with rivals.

Expect more price cuts BYD throughout the year.

may this point in time , BYD showroom on weekends is like a pasar malam where people are flooded with cash to buy seals and atto3 rather then the dolphin
