Police report says collided

and people here say brushed.

:D

What next glanced?

My All farts breathed on the Red Cerato?

Google translate says "collided".

The original malay language police report used the word "bergesel", which more closely means "side-swiped".

If you have ever been to a traffic police station in malaysia to make police report of accident, sometimes you'll see on the notice-board helpful translations of your accident situation (because the report must be written in malay language) for the convenience of foreigners. So you just pick and choose the template [laugh], only need to fill in location names, date, time, personal particulars and vehicle particulars.

Various situations like "dilanggar dari belakang" (hit from the rear), "bergesel", and many more. I got a minor case of "dilanggar dari belakang" last time [laugh] at traffic light junction. Luckily was driving a rental car. Made a report as required in malaysia for insurance claims and furnished to the rental company when returning the car, did not get extra charges. Car wasn't too badly damaged though, maybe that's why too.

What led to the incident? See for yourself

Due to the wide angle distortion, it might seems that the red car was cutting in. But it's actually the cam car that is straddled between two queues. Red car kuai lan don't let them in..

Same here except with the bikers ……. Sorry but like mozzies ….. hit wing mirror somemore look back and just move on …. Small scratch ….. Aiyah ……. Not my car ….. only leasing from AhGong for 10 years 😢

Look at it from socio-economic point of view, you are driving your car, while that guy is only riding a motorbike - most likely he is lower income bracket than you - so give chance lah ..... especially if it's just a minor ding on the wing mirror.

Unless the motorbike is a harley or bmw, then no give chance [laugh]

Kia couple already got their way by blocking off cam car. The road rage after that was nonsensical. They deserved the “attention” they are getting.

Their reaction is definitely way out of proportion. Yes deserved the attention they are getting.

Yes, i have the same view.

And goodness, a pity the door did not open as the exaggerated and vigorous cleaning of panel took place.

Oops.😔 So bad. I know.

But I hope no one park near this car. Can imagine the incredible hulk manifesting over a tiny tweeny weeny millimetre too close. That innocent car may have its number plate ripped out and smacked cleanly on its windscreen. Too stunned even to slide down.

😂😂😂 Gosh. More of such videos, we may be fatten up with laughter.

Just saying.

Stay safe

Cheers

To me looks like cam car probably tried to switch lane forcing red car to almost hit the railing. In the end hit each other lor!

Good for cam car driver to meet his match in guailanness....

PS video edited not to show cam car changing lane, but we all know one lah!

Personally I think it is very common to cut in and out of lanes at the custom jam,  in fact it is also very common on the expressway jam,  but do it as safely as possible or at least with no accident.

Assuming the MPV cuts in front of another vehicle behind the kia,  and in the process hit the kia and damage it's own number plate.  And when approached gave that,  " it's custom jam,  no big deal getting hit or hitting someone" attitude,  how would most ppl had reacted?

Having driven  into MY for the past 20 years,  I have had my fair shares of hitting and getting hit at the custom jam,  mostly small issues but it can turn both ways.

The best incident I had was one morning on the way back to sg,  I  hit the side of a Honda shuttle lightly.  The driver was real pissed as he alight,  so first thing I apologize,  and said, let's settle along BKE after we clear. Once we meet up along BKE,  I apologize again and offer him to get his car fix at my WS.  Suddenly he cooled down,  thought for a while and then asked me back,  "how's your car? ", with which I replied,  don't worry about my car, I hit you, so we worry about your car.  He walked over to check my car,  looked at me,  and then said forget it,  let's go.

Bad ones many,  mostly with that " its custom jam,  so no big deal hitting or getting hit" attitude.  So much until I also accept this attitude as norm.

But honestly how many new drivers into MY can accept this fact?  Esp if you are so use to the abit abit also cannot way sg divers behave.

The passive guy always appear innocent,  but fact is the aggressive fellow may not be the bad guy either,  he may just be inexperienced for such an incident and couldn't accept it.

If every one on the road behave like how they comment online,  the road will be so peaceful.  [laugh][laugh][laugh]

For me is always backing off, takes slightly longer to clear custom but safe and good all the way back home.

Quite common to see this sort of traffic during peak season.

I just hate black cars with no headlights when driving along MY roads with poor lighting, sometimes can't even see them in the side mirror.

We know the mpv is probably no angel in the whole saga

But who was truly right or wrong doesn't matter anymore since it has been overshadowed by the karen's lunatic behaviour

Nothing justifies this sort of violent and aggressive behaviour from the lady. It is simply road rage to the extreme.

Any incidents that happen on the road, keep a calm head and try to settle amicably. The moment you intentionally damage someone else's property the majority of fault is yours.

"bergesel" in malay is more like rubbed or brushed. Definitely not collide. Collide is "langgar"

When driving across the causeway while jam, just  give and take.  Everybody's goal is just to get across, why want to make things hard for each other and makes the journey unpleasant?

Whenever people signal to cut my lane, I will always give way.  It doesn't matter to me as long they do it safely.  I don't build or own the road......if they wanna be in-front of me, please go ahead.

The Kia driver/ passenger must have very high IQ and eq not to react after seeing a "big SUV"  forcing it way from the rear. Not sure any scratches though.

I asked myself how would I react if i am in the Kia position.  I don't know.

So easy for us to pass comments but we aren't inside the Kia at that juncture. No one know what transpired.
