Something very wrong with their way of PM succession. Truss obviously has not worked closely with past UK PMs before. Other potential candidates like Truss are also not equipped to take the seat. Truss fired the one most important person to her who is Tom Scholar, permanent secretary to the Treasury. In terms of economic policies he is most experienced. Dunno who will take over. Winter time will be challenging for UK.

it shows how messed up the 2 countries political system ... the Yanks and Brits

Liz fired the one man who stood in the way of her ridiculous promises.

And look where we are 1 month later.

UK energy supplies are largely from north sea fields (piped natural gas) and renewables, it is just one pocket to another.  It is not challenging for UK but the people.

Whilst that's true of natural gas from the North Sea, it's mostly owned by Norway somehow. If I remember correctly, oil is mostly from UK ownership and refined in Grangemouth but gas is Norwegian and piped into S.E. England but these guys are really stiffing prices these days.

North of the border, a lot of hydro and wind power plus at least one nuclear plant.

Thanks for sharing.  I read a while back that more than 50% of their gas comes from their own gas fields.

Anyway, the Arabs are laughing to the bank, the US is a net exporter, Europeans and Americans have renewables and own most of the oil majors, who are enjoying a windfall, guess who are paying the most for the Ukraine conflicts?

Why they choose the most incompetent woman in England to be PM?

:D

No choice, between a southern asian and a white, the white supremacy takes priority. They need to try another white.
