UK politics is so busy finding the next PM they have totally ignored the already inflated cost of living. Coming winter they will most likely suffer together with Europe with no gas coming from Russia. See how much US will lend a helping hand.

With a recession looming UK and Europe will have a tough time keeping warm this winter. Will the next UK pm be asked to step down as well? Ministers mass resign too? Stop bickering liao. You dont have much time left before winter comes.

Believe Truss will win cos I doubt they want an ethic Indian to be their next PM.  

I don’t think either of them have a clear and workable solutions to energy prices, inflation, jobs and avoid recession. Both threw in a lot of sounds-great ideas but many of it cannot be implemented or help with the problems within a very short time. Their energy solution, if it works, will take a decade or more to establish. Tax cut, fund injection, etc only means burning a much bigger hole to patch part of a smaller hole.

But again, they don’t need to worry too much on longer term issues cos they will have out of power by then. Others can pick up the rubbish after them.

Not surprising.  2024 is the start of period 9 which will see the dominance of mid-career women at the top levels.  Many more C-suite positions and top political figures will be women for the next 20 years.

The last 5 years already seeing the signs as we are now in the transitionary period.
