Btw, I wonder if the ferry service allows passengers to bring on board something like this. It would be convenient to travel around with it.

Bought ticket to go Batam.  Same operator as the ferry to Desaru.

The return ticket for a bicycle is $20.

We are taking roadie to Batam

To bring bicycle to Desaru, the procedure should be the same as going to Batam.

It is best to inform Batamfast during ticket purchase.

Upon check-in, go to baggage check-in area to pay $20 for bike tag.

Need the check-in slip for bike tag purchase.

Once paid, Batamfast staff will take the bike straight to the boat.

We were sitting with our bikes in the open deck.

For returning trip, Batamfast staff cannot make up their mind whether to send our bike to Harbourfront Baggage Area.

In the end, we send our bike to Harbourfront Baggage Area.  It is a restricted area.

We have to go through Passport control before pickup our bike at Baggage Area.
