For me I feel more productive when I WFH. When I'm alone in my room I can be in my zone and concentrate on my work, nobody disturb.

No choice, that's WFO for all of us too. Sometimes colleagues talk too loudly in office, hard to avoid.

I particularly hate the lunch time gossip, I rather talk to a tree

Thats why many people need to work ''OT''. Either they can claim for OT, thats why stay back, or they want to show to their boss that they are working hard?! Lol.

Anyway, you forgot to add in frequent and long toilet break and smoke break. Esp if you smoke, you need to take lift go downstairs and out of the building to smoke, one smoke break already taken up at least 10 mins.

Work till drop not in my dictionary, work-life balance is more important for me, also i dont want to get too stress on work. Thats why when i tell my boss during appraisal that work-life balance is what i am looking for, he rolls his eyes since he is a workaholic. Guess i have not much chance to get promotion etc liao since i am so nua. 😅

Lunch with colleagues cannot say gossip, must say networking and improve relationship la. Lol. Being too anti-social in office or always lone ranger is not a good thing. Since humans are made to socialize with others people. 😂

Before Covid-19, WFH is almost non-existent or uncommon. 

It is normal/standard for most to go to a physical office. WFH model is a 99% Covid-19's creation born out of necessity. 

In light of relaxed measures against it, why should it become "unreasonable" now to work from office? 

Work life balance has been doing a balancing act way before Covid-19. It is really dependent on a few factors, such as company's culture, workload, nature of industry practices and personal preference. 

WFH is also not a panadol to work life balance. Work may suffer in this arrangement when one infuse personal errands/activity during "office hours". Sleeping on the job is so much easier too. 😴

Life balance part may suffer too, if emails are sent throughout the day n night and one is expected to reply, like yesterday. Meetings online may mean one needs to stay up till 2-3am due to time zones of other colleagues worldwide. The difference here is the expectation that such online meetings can take place anytime. No need to sleep one or can wake up late since no need to rush to office. 

WFH means electricity bills may go up with aircon on for longer hours. Or more home cooked meals. But definitely can cut down spending on office attires. 

Those working from office now oso still continue to yada here. Sometimes it's as if they just decrease MCF link to be called up when no one's looking. Surfing on the job. 😅😂😂

Yup, yada-ing. Had a few Bak Changs earlier so got output. *blurp* Dun mind me pls. Pardon the long train that my thoughts are on. 

For the record, I dun like Elon too, mainly cos of Thailand cave incident.

Not jealous or envious but read that he like to make his dreams come true and thru by using the people working for him to make them happen. Oh well, receive salary from him so it's expected to work that way. Can always resign.

I dunno whats the hue and cry all about WFH...... if Boss is comfortable and employee are comfortable .... why not??? who are we here all to comment; I'm sure govt here is also OK with it to reduce traffic especially in office enviro; But industrial its  hard if not impossible

Ya. Gossip or complain together is proven scientifically to create bonds between one another. And if people like you, you are likely to get things done easier. 

But I usually do not meet colleagues for dinners or gathering after office hours. Lol. But I do meet ex colleagues every now and then for gatherings.
