Not an issue for the G06. You can check the supported coding options for your model/ generation from their website.

I am surprised that there is no support for air cond Euro/Tropical

Yes, default starting drive mode (mini: econ/mid/sport) if you are always switching to a particular mode each time.

For me, I chose to have the car remember the last drive mode it was in since the last stop. Eg. If it was last in sport mode, the next time I start the car, it will fire up in sport mode.... The louder start up exhaust with pops and crackles is addictive. 😅

Yes, last setting is good enough. Thanks for confirming.

I have a nagging question on adaptive drive mode. If you know and can share, it will be great.

Do you need to use BMW  navigation in idrive to fully benefit from adaptive drive mode?

I usually use Waze and haven't learnt to appreciate idrive navigation.

I believe the route needs to be set on iDrive navi to reap the benefits of the adaptive drive. Having said that, my driving style is too sedated for the vehicle to adapt to anything and as such, I don't feel any difference between Comfort vs Adaptive modes 🤣.

The above coding in bimmercode expert mode works for me in id7.

Thanks for sharing, it is hard to tell in SG traffic generally. I tried a few times on adaptive mode with active GPS routing but can’t convincingly conclude there is a differential too. 😂😂😂. Hence this has been nagging me.

Sounds to me that the adaptive mode is mainly for fuel economy (ie, reduce throttle response and reduced threshold for gear upchanging during free flowing highway driving). But with our urban/jam driving landscape, I doubt any gain will be noticeable.😄
