Nice shots... dunno when it was taken.

But I'm guessing with a good bazooka lens,  the building outside can also get fantastic shots.

Quite surprised how close to the ground the tail pipes get during landing.

This was taken with authorised access to restricted areas. You cannot see the flight line from any publicly accessible building, though there are places you can see the runway, and aircraft on takeoff or final approach.

Not sure the context of releasing this video. Usually such are done to let people know.

They're not carrying all the available toys except some short range AAMs. So it's not really to show half ball to observers.

Perhaps it's just a demonstration of aircraft availability rates,  🤔

Those NDP and airshows do not carry AAMs etc.

These are on air defence mission, which is a rare sight for me.

Always wondered if the weapon attachments come loose while landing or taking off, it must hurt whatever it hits... but since they are not primed, explosion is unlikely.

As luck would have it, the jettisoned F16 took off at Tengah, else its either the residents or the pilot who have to make a sacrifice

If PLAB then jettison likely on TPE towards Lorong Halus.

Indonesia cast their lot in with South Korea to develop the KF-21 Boramae

Looks slightly larger than F16.

But 2 engine, probably can carry similar payload to F35?

Not sure of it's range though.

i think indo is out liao.

they not been paying up their share, and frankly what technical contribution can/did they give??  Koreans must be bloody fuming angry.

now indo already annouce Rafale and F15 mega purchases, the koreans must be thinking "WTF you take me for!!!" 🤯

And Borame is not a 5th gen stealth jet, it really doesnt have much of a lead over Rafles and F15.

how can Indo justify/afford the cost now.🤔

There was an all-squadrons exercise a week or so back, probably air to air, and the Vipers were temporarily stationed at PLAB. The spotters had fun taking photos of the tail logos of all our squadrons stationed on mainland Singapore.

At least the Indonesian flag is still painted on the side of the nose. But I think they know they need more 4th generation fighters now with SCS being more and more of a concern. In any case, Indonesia has the capacity to build aircraft, just not very sophisticated ones, so they may retain some interest and involvement in the project for upskilling their local manufacturing capabilities.

From Wikipedia, the estimated range is only 1000km.

Say travelling just below mach 1

That's like 1 hr flight time. Need several refueling just to cover Indon territory alone.

Or the combat must end within 30mins if at max speed.
