I suspect ST eng must be doing over time on ammo production. Earn until buay iin chu 🤑🤑🤑

Maybe even even sell existing old stock... will be fired almost immediately anyway...  while replacing SAF with new stock 🤔. Win win.

(Not disagreeing - just elaborating)

Without going into OpSec, all ammo has expiry date therefore militaries practise FIFO. Explosives get unstable after some time. Under peacetime conditions, anmmo intended for wartime will be cycled out from stockpiles to be used as training live fire ammo to be replaced by newly manufactured ammunition. Sometimes batches that suffer chamber explosion will be disposed early. Regardless, whether going to training or actual combat, consumption rate has increased and therefore probably all arms and ammo manufacturers are seeing higher production due to the war in Ukraine.

Ah... those are dead end already, end of life product.

EOL though they may be, they are what the Super Hornet is to the legacy Hornet, except that the F-35 came and derailed prospects of export and development of the F-2 platform. Japan at the time was still pacifist and wasn’t aggressively marketing it, and as such the opportunity was lost

Assuming only 10 batteries...

20x10 is 200...no wonder so many got rained down...but also quite alot penetrative...😅

Effective range is one thing...need to be guided and near the target...if not by the time it reaches...see bird only 😂

Interesting technical details of ATACMs and Storm Shadow. IfUSA say cannot really mean cannot, not even to do it behind their back.

Found this channel,  military history presented in a kinda talk show style, but nothing over the top, not dry or exaggerations but still history. Also Exploring why the main actors did what they did instead of just saying what happened on the ground.

A bit like CO debrief after a battalion ops for those who have been through it.

Naval Battle of Savo island.

They really screwed up their air force to have to go look for second hand hornets this way. How many more years they think they want to squeeze out of it.

They have so much problems with their newer SUs already and they are now still looking at the SU57s, ..  a "superjet" even the Russian air force can't field. 🤦‍♂️

The super hornet alone is already 24 years old liao.

Though I'm not sure how close the Kuwaiti hornets are to the super hornets.
