I would say this is overtreating.

Many of these chain clinics charges higher also thinking there's insurance coverage for everyone. 

Usually doctor give one drowsy and one non drowsy could be want to let you take the medicine more frequently? Lol. More often means recover faster?

Next time I will only ask for the best medication for each symptoms.

Best for cough

Best to stop phlegm 

Best for sore throat

Best for blocked nose

Will ask ...can you confirm this also has bacterial infection? If not, I don't want antibiotics.
