Most places are minimum $4.50 now so this chart is eaither cherry pick the cheaper places or bulls**tting.

Correct, this chart is ownself bluff ownself la, how to find such price now. Nowadays all food price even at hawker centre also not cheap, default like $5 and above. For zi char rice item, now price is $7 if add one egg, $8, scary siah. If still can find $5.5 to $6, maybe the taste not nice, or portion is small.

Price increase by itself does not reflect the true inflation of these hawker foods.

They should also show how much has the portion of the food shrunk over the years.

Lucky me old liao….slower metabolism….so smaller portion js nice to keep my weight checked LOL
