I remember even Yashica cameras ( cheapest in those days compared to Canon/Nikon had Carl Ziess lens or something like that ( as in standard model not the separate body and lens for SLR’s) back then

Ans also if you look at the brands under Swatch Group, the best one to have a meaningful yet not suicidal collab is Omega.  So Swatch made a good decision.

they couldnt have chosen any other better one within the group .
