Russia survived WW2 because it took unimaginable amounts of weapons and aid from the US. Large parts was eventually written off.... largely by Russians themselves😂 China survived WW2 because the US Navy defeated Japan in the Pacific... now China tells Ukraine to give up while it even accepted the Flying Tigers and weapons from the US like Russia did, also written off... CCP pattern 😂 UK very steady, eventually paid off in 2006 iirc, never just say it's "historical document" . But WW2 lend lease terms were actually very generous for recipient nations. You seem ideologically affected by whatever that has China/chinese association, spreading misinformation, and spreading hatred against certain groups. Chinese as a race is diverse and has many types and characters, but morally, it is viewed positively when one is a gentlemen and sticks to principles and honours agreements, not withstanding sometimes as a lip service The landlease was to ROC government during Japanese invasion, and later to fight the communists, and after that, to build up Taiwan island The debt was fully repaid by 2004 January by ROC https://zh.m.wikipedia.org/zh-sg/美援 1

I believe ukraine going to lose more land then it gain( if it even get to keep those Russia land it gain now.) And ukraine still won't get to join Nato. It won't even get to join EU with its current financial state
Sturtles 6th Gear 22 hours ago Share 22 hours ago It is sad for Ukraine as a country. Their homeland and people will eventually be dissected and enslaved. US has just as much if not more rare earths, but NIMBY selfishness made them want to have the resource without the negativities 3rd world countries, and even 1st world like Canada and Norway continuously fall for it, because of the values propagated by western softpower in the young generation

And some Rare Earth deposit in the Zaporizhzhya and Donetsk. Can see this is all targeted by Russia. Those simi NATO expansion are just excuse, simply Finland who share a huge border with Russia became a member with no threat or invasion from Russia. Ukraine Rare Earth Stock pile is huge. Putin had created the opportunity for Trump to be what he is, an opportunist. Exploiting a war torn country in plight who is fighting for it's existence. But will he be an effective provider of military aid? I consider Biden's aid as ineffective and only prolong the war. I hope the peace deal,.if any, will not be compromising Ukraine territories , especially the area where they have their rare earth. If the world allows putin to take what is occupied, then it gives him the messgae that whatever he needs in future, just go start a SMO. But trump is one that does not make decision base on common sense, so it is hard to anticipate what will be ahead of the peace talk for Ukraine

Rare stems from the difficulty in extraction in pure form, involving lots of externalities. Also contrary to your belief, trump has a simple but realist view of the world, full of common sense. It is simple common sense to make your country strong, where u just prey on weaker countries, especially if they are heavily reliant on you. Sucking up to him only takes you so far, if you are not capable. Results and obedience is the crux to his employment, much like any corporate culture, compared to most politicians where only obedience matters I never understood why Singapore had to sell off core infrastructure such as power plants, when I wore the trump hat of thinking, especially to red China, because monetary gains does not matter in adversarial times. Occupied territories will stay unrecognize by Ukraine, and EU. Putin wants 100% of the 4 regions though, which he yet to fully occupies.

Worry for our little red dot. Our defense philosophy was always deterrence to make the aggressor hurt badly such that it makes no sense to attack. maybe one further deterrence is to have some nuclear power stations here. make it such that if i die... everyone also dies. Whatever land you can grab, you keep. US is spending too much money to help allies, so it will probably downside and cut defence budget, under trump.
