Got plan, but Putin miscalculated. Supposed to be a SMO of only a couple of weeks, some says 3 days. Take Antonov Airport, than land the main troops and heavy equipment's using the airport and take over Kyiv that is assumed to be weakly defended.  By now we know that failed miserably. Now is a full scale war of attrition on both sides.

The most reliable source of news are the official media channels, not mil blogger YouTubes. And official media quoted zelensky as already signalling that he may cede the pro-russian parts of ukrainian territory in exchange for peace. He also wanted nato security guarantees but I doubt that is possible. Can get the peace he wanted in exchange for some land is already a bonus. Russia gets the buffer territory they wanted in the beginning but at a terrible cost.

After Trump step down, Putin (if he still around) will invade Ukraine for the 3rd time.

MIl bloggers news more up to date, though may be bias. Just need to know who are the ones who are relaible despite their bias. i have a few I followed on both sides considered reliable even though they are slightly bias either side,

The agreement on both sides I get is this war is not in favour for Ukraine on the frontline. Ukraine's defense line is collapsing at a accelerated rate since Trumps won the election. Ukraine Eastern defense is very stretched and thin. Zelensky or Srysky is putting the best battalion on the Kursk gamble to hold it as long as it takes. Russia lost is huge, but Putin doesn't seem to be affected by it.

MIL bloggers show what's happening on the frontline.

Political bloggers show what's the leaders are doing.

Its the economic bloggers that will tell what will happen to the war.

It will come down to who can afford to keep fighting.

The 3 years of sanctions has depleted the Russian economy.

The loss of 700,000 men means 700,000 less people to work the economy after the war.

Europe keep sending a billion of dollars a month to keep Ukraine going

The Russians cannot afford to keep fighting the war.

Its just too expensive in terms of money and manpower.

Its a war of economics.

Putin paying US$20,000 for every North Korean soldier.

They are useless.

Maybe Putin can get a discount from Kim?

How about US$5,000 a soldier?

Putin and his family not dying on the front lines

so 700,000 other Russians not related to Putin,

Putin doesn't care if they die.

So far, though enormous numbers of russian servicemen perished, hearsay it is mainly still composed of minorities, central asian or far east russians.

Russia has a huge population, and so far the war has not yet consumed the 'white' euro/western russian peoples in a significant way.

That's why putin is under pressure not to prolong and drag the war any longer or he will start having to do major call-ups in moscow, st petersburg - it will cause unrest.

Anti tank missiles cost $50,000 each.

Its too expensive for Ukraine to keep using them.

So they use $500 drones dropping with an anti tank mine

to kill $5 million Russian tanks.

France and Germany is not supporting Ukraine because they love Ukraine

They are supporting Ukraine because if Ukraine falls they are next.

France and Germany economy no good?

Not as good as Russia and China?

You seriously think Putin will attack full fledge NATO countries and risk the end of his rule?

Precisely because Ukraine is corrupt, using lofty ideals and empty promises to get into government to loot its coffers, Putin deem it weak, and can to be invaded.

Mind you prior to Russia invasion, Ukraine is easily the top 20 countries in terms of armed forces strength

Anyway, Zelenskyy is throwing test balloons to sacrifice land for subjective peace, which is a lost preposition when he should not have believed US and start poking the bear.

He has let his people down, not that he cares.

Probably get an Israel passport and live out his life there

Putin cuts payment to wounded vets.

Russia cannot afford to pay after 3 years of losses in the war and sanctions bite.

I am no geo politic expert. How's the possibility of a East and west Ukraine happening for NATO membership, a resemblance the Berlin wall during the cold war.

Anyway discussion underway with Western partners. Aiding Ukraine for a victory on the frontline is not working, and Ukraine needs to be secured from future invasion which very likely will happen.

Two schemed proposed forwarded.
