If man wasn't selfish and cared more for other people than himself then communism would be perfect.

But as we all know if you gave anyone absolute power to decide who gets what then he or she is going to take more for themselves and short change someone else.

:D

That why communism doesn't work.

The price mechanism works better but only to an extent and also has flaws.

I doubt the US will be able to lead a war against Russia after what happened in Afghan. Need a US president who dare to go against the ppl to do that. US probably hope the EU, with the US leading the call, can take on the Russians. But again, why will many countries in the EU wants to go to wars with Russia where many of their cheaper gas supply are from? They have a lot to lose and very little to gain.

A rational comment to a irrational situation when everyone knows both Russia and US are no longer as "Communist" as social democrat Germany today.

I also don't understand why some pple still latch on to the image of Russia = USSR when the fact the later no longer exist and nor is US a superpower enjoying as much influence has it had decades ago....

Why would EU wanna go to war ? Good question !  I also ask why US and UK perpetuating conflict in eastern Europe - Ans : Both aren't part of EU. 😜

Ukraine mayor mock germany after germany send helmet to Ukraine😂

https://www.straitstimes.com/world/europe/germany-mocked-over-plan-to-send-helmets-to-ukraine

Germany, which has refused to provide weapons to Ukraine in the face of a possible Russian invasion, offered on Wednesday (Jan 26) to send 5,000 helmets instead, a move slammed as an "absolute joke" by the mayor of Kyiv.

Justice Minister Christine Lambrecht said the planned delivery would send a "very clear signal" that Germany stands by Ukraine amid rising tensions with Russia.

But Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said the helmet offer had left him "speechless"

Simi helmet ah

putin wont cut off gas to germany. only afraid germany dont buy gas from them. but if us force germany to sanction russia gas and in order to do so must make war, then germany have not choice. expensive gas means more inflation.

Germany shutting its nuclear plants may come back to haunt them. Could be a strategic blunder.

Yes. All along is US trying to create tension to prevent EU from buying russian gas.

This is super clear up front.

Communism didn't spread?

The communists fought a war in Malaya.

Even Singapore had communists.

Isn't Chin Peng a communist?

The British army defeated the communists and stopped communism spreading.

So when people say communism didn't spread I think they mean it would have spread but was stopped from spreading and so to them it didn't spread lah.

:D

First, if you can explain how communism comes into picture between Russia and Ukraine, it will be great.

Second, if you are aware that today's Russia isn't Soviet Union, it will also be great.

Third, do you have selective memory of history and stuck at certain point of history without the desire to acknowledge what happened next?

Read on and help yourself.

Who said communism didn't spread? One of the comments here was that US stopped communism. That is so stupid and I don't know what kind of books people may have read to draw that conclusion.

US lost in Vietnam, Vietnam became a Communist state. Who actually stop communism from spreading in Southeast Asia? Here you go...

If like that then what are the viable alternative sources of energy for generating electricity for EVs ?
