Who gives a better stern warning? Biden also can give stern warning, ask Iran, they know Biden's warning.

Wow....

Ukraine really wants to drag the world into WW3...

Zelensky is now doing unorthodox, unpredictable moves...

And is open for lobbying so long one gives any form of support to their war effort.

Its good to know that these guys are hung by United States convened war crimes court...

Perhaps he is a clairvoyant.

For me it's the guy who fired the first missile at civilians of the another country is the one who start the war. Before that first shot, everything else are diplomacy. Same with any case of assault. Who lost his cool first and dish out physical harm first bears most of the responsibility. IF really there's WW3, to me it's already Putin started it.

In Singapore context, yes, as prescribed by our case laws.

Yet are many ways to make others suffer, playing loud music, rearing pig stys in your yard, or have a preference to cook smelly tofu and these are not able to be effectively addressed even in context of current legislation.

So the parliament will then table new legislations to address these concerns.

However, the parliament is hung, and nothing moves.

In context of global countries, it is even more complex.

You have previously mentioned, its only the past couple of years where you have become a keen watcher of global politics from Ukrainian war context and its a good start.

As Kishore Mahbubani mentions in interview with the Singaporean channel, the West is actively weakening the UN, for short term benefits, which is against longer term peace.

For a start, the WTO is now in limbo because US does not second a judge to adjudicate the grievances because its not to US benefit.

No significant party in the west is speaking out, because that is how the world works.

If Trade breaks down, war will inevitably start

Russia is striking civilian targets almost everyday. This is the latest one.

It's a waste of missiles to strike civilian target like residential block but Russians probably too embarrassed to say their missiles not accurate.

Yes, more weapons is needed but to defeat Russia and chase them out of Ukraine territories, NATO needs to send more of their own citizens (disguised as mercenaries perhaps) to fight.

Russia should not be allowed to win but Ukraine can't be fighting an unwinnable war alone.  It is really not fair to the Ukrainians, especially when everyone else, especially the Scandinavian countries, are goading them to fight till the last man standing.

Like what PRC did in Korean War.  中国人民志愿军

Change "Resist U.S. aggressors and aid Korea, to defend our homeland" to "Resist Russian aggressors and aid Ukraine, to defend our homeland"

I do think it's intentional. Imho, they want to use terrorism to get Ukriane to capitulate and back to the peace deal that Putin want. A deal that allow Putin to hold the the 4 occupied land with peace of mind so they can develop and benefit from all the mines, gas there.

Right now Ukraine is slowly improving their own long range strike, hitting anyhere in Moscow is already fair game if the war doesn't end.

If you think about it, Kiev is still in relatively good shape and the Russians have proven that they could level entire cities (see pictures) with their missiles and FAB bombs.

Is it a restraint they imposed on themselves but which is slowly slipping away as the war escalates further?  Or maybe it is due to strong anti aircraft system deployed around Kiev, which despite Ukrainians claim of successful intercept, are not fool proof as shown by numerous pictures of collapse building in Kiev.

My own amateur opinion. Donestsk and Luhansk extremely difficult take back. Might never.

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, including Crimea, higher chance to get back, but not with the current level of support from the west and manpower. Especially the USA that is dispatching the promised aids in small batches. The current level of support is it even enough to defend.

To level whole city you can only do it using bombers which needs air supremacy. Russians can't achieve. Unlike Israelis fighting against someone with zero air defence. Using only missiles and drones can only do so much damage.

I thought the Russians have control of air space especially during early part of the war?  Maybe with F16 now, there might be more resistance but you can certainly drop a lot of bombs from high up and these are really hard to intercept.

Both side does not absolute control of air space as there is no system to identify friendly/enemy.

With Patriot and restriction on long range missile, Russian has some form of air space control.

Russian can fire missiles deep inside Russian territory.

The 5 F16 can only act as an anti-missile battery.

These are scene left behind by fab bombers and heavy arty shelling. Now we see how it is almost impossible to defend a position or city, when your attackers is willing to take over a wasteland.

Agree with @Volvobrick . The SU34/35 won't able to reach Kyiv safely with air defense that are protecting the major city.

The FAB bombers are able to make it to frontline is also Russia manage to destroy quite a number of the frontline Air defense of Ukraine, mostly by their deadly Lancet Drones. That was also the time where Ukraine ran out of ammunition because of that Republican blocking aids.

Another frontline in the south might be collapsing for Ukraine. Remember Vuhledar more than a year ago, where a whole Russian tank battalion was wipe out when they tried to attack. Since then they were unable to advance for along time. Just two days that frontline was active again when russian heavy shelling. They are deploying a tactic this time instead of a head on.

Vulhledar, where a whole Russian tank battalion was lost due last years due to a reckless commander, who just ordered his men to chiong toward mines and heavy shelling from the defenders?  Why are they repeating the same thing? And strangely why their tactic in the South, i,e, Kherson or Zaporizhzhia  is so different from the East? The EAst are advancing quickly with support from FAB bombers. But the South is just meat wave.
