The pilot was punished and transferred to ground forces.

This is silly! Means Russia has one less pilot and its a death sentence.

Either the Russian ground forces will kill him for killing their comrades 

or killed my Ukrainians

Day 4, still burning.  I guess no more cheap oil for Russia friends.. Among all the strategic attack, I think the oil refineries hit hurts Putin the most. Not even Kursk invasion had made Putin as moody as these burning oil refineries. From frontline, the Russian advancement in Eastern Ukraine is more important to Putin than taking back Kursk. Just read Niu York has fallen. Eastern frontline not improving for Ukraine. As long they have no answer to the fab bombers, we will continue to see the retreat of Ukranian forces in the east.

For the Kursk residents, you get the leader you 'voted' for, who is caring more to liberate Russian speaking UKranians in Doneskt.

If Ukraine's plan is to capture more Russian land, why would they destroy their route of advancement?

Holding ground without counter artillery battery and air support is not the best idea.

Hope Ukraine's elite force will not be wiped out in the incursion

I think the buffer zones also allows Ukraine to fire missile (Himars or Drones?) further inside Russia.
