I think it all runs down  to trump's influence on the Republican party. He has been no friend of Ukraine. And the reps has block anything as long as possible. I belive bidden will push another aid package for Ukraine before election. 

However,  if trump were to win, he could just as easily sing another tune and go all in against putin and Xi to play hero 🤔... he no principle one🤦‍♂️.

Europeans simply  need to step up.

America had been turning inwards for several presidential terms, they don't really need the rest of the world to function. The north American trio of Canada,  USA, Mexico have EVERYTHING they need to function. 

But... if America goes isolationist again,  putin takes Europe,  Xi takes Asia... and even the pinkest pinkies here will learn the consequences.😬

Trump also no good. Biden is just a little better alternative that is doing rather badly for Ukraine. I am no Geopolitic expert, you don't see me involve much in the China thread. So I don't know much about the dynamics of other regional conflict in regards of this biden administration. But just looking at Ukraine conflict which I monitor rather closely. I see this . What they say and promise, in reality they will look for reasons to do it half heartedly.  They are the one that bound Ukraine hands in the fight, with unfair rule of conflict. They refuse F16 initially, agree when thing got worst but delay training and transfer. They are the one that stop the Sweden sending Gripens to Ukraine.  Somehow Macron saw that and compensate to send Mirage urgently.  They deny ATACMs initially, things got bad, approve limited ATACMS. Even right now, it seems, ATACMS has run out now. This is a very cautious and reactive administration. Even the decision to allow Ukraine to strike inside Russia is reactive and they were the last on the partners to approve that. They just have to wait til situation goes really bad then they make the right call for Ukraine and then it's too late.

I also monitor the frontline changes almost nightly. I can say thing got better for ukraine after the aid package arrived. But the situation is still Russian gaining more lands than Ukraine. Russia is still winning.  I am afraid the 4 oblasts are completely lost to Russia. Ukraine had an opportunity after the liberation of Kharkiv and part of Lunhansk.  But they were completely fk by USA on the promise of equipment's for the failed Summer counteroffensive. That is also the time, Russia turned from clumsy to rather competent. 

Yes, Europe need to learn Putin is primary their concern, USA can leave anytime.

US-supplied F-16 fighter jets will be stationed within Ukrainian territory, according to the White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan in an interview on PBS on June 19.

He noted that the bilateral security agreement between the United States and Ukraine reinforces that the provided F-16 aircraft will be located on Ukrainian soil.

“The plan is to put the F-16s in Ukraine. And the bilateral security agreement that the president and President Zelenskyy signed reinforced this point, that we want to help Ukraine have this capability. It should be a capability based in Ukraine,” Sullivan said.

He further emphasized that Ukraine can, in the event of a threat, use the provided air defense systems, including those recently delivered by the US to target Russian aircraft, even if they’re within Russian airspace.

“Well, first, we are permitting Ukrainian forces to attack Russian forces using Russia as a sanctuary in the areas where on the battlefield they are attacking from inside Russia with artillery, with other ground-based munitions.” Sullivan then expands, saying, that “they can use air defense systems, including those supplied by the United States, to take Russian planes out of the sky, even if those Russian planes are in Russian airspace, if they’re about to fire into Ukrainian airspace.”

Trump is probably going to win but it is too early to know for certain. If he is denied an election through legal avenues, there will be further political polarization and violence is probably almost certain.

Biden's senile administration has been quiet regarding recent strikes on Russia. Coz this actions really hurts Putin and Ukraine will keep on doing it. I guess Mike Johnson really did his work when he said he will talk to Biden to let Ukraine to fight their war without USA interfering it.

When Ukraine has less restriction on using western weapons, it helps to level the playing field. Let's remove more restriction on the F16 and ATACMs usage.

Zelensky plead to have capabilities to take care of carriers of these glide bombs. Currently there are no countermeasures. My guess is they need capabilities to fire deep inside Russia and take down those planes before they even reach the distance of releasing the glide bombs.

Luckily it wasn't a huge projectile. That was a very fortunate pedestrian in the video..... if she had walked a bit faster, that would've been the end of her. Surprised she took the blast at pretty close range and could still walk away relatively unscathed.
