I don't follow the Chinese chatters, but came acros this article. It seems that there might be a shift in sentiment for Russia among some of the Weibo chats. Some are calling Russia as Vegetable Goose..

Last time Putin can still revert to aggression because the russian army seemed to be winning and rolling over the ukrainians in donbass and crimea. But now their broken system and degraded military capabilities have been exposed for whole world to see. I doubt he can mount another war operation in his lifetime or maybe a few lifetimes

To fix the corruption, mismanagement and Nth-level wayang-ing in the russian military, will take at least 1-2 generations. Total mindset change. And the rot in the govt service must be cleaned out first. I don't think even Putin can manage.

Ukraine might be in the same situation as the US in vietnam. Winning all the battles but at a toll that is shielded from us and the international news media. Only continuous weapons supply and support from its allies is keeping the momentum going. Musk is just telling them it's in their interest to end things quickly. Maybe Musk knows more things since he provides the Starlink network that ukraine relies on for comms. Thus triggering the inordinate reaction.

This is definitely a long war. And I don't think it's easy to regain back all the territory (not even excluding Crimea) as what some people say.

As long as you cannot attack mother Russia itself, u can never target their depots, logistical hubs there. So it's like fighting with an arm tied around your back. Ukraine have no numerical advantage also in terms of being the aggressor retaking back territory. 

Though Putin is never going to eat humble pie officially. So possibly this will drag out into years. And when the Russians can portray this as anything other than a 95% failed campaign, maybe Putin step down for successor etc then something can happen.

It is all about the narrative and the context it seeks to establish. To the uninformed, this could be a photo of Singaporeans running away to Malaysia for whatever reason - maybe to eat fresh chicken, run away from GST, or Godzilla just popped up at Marina Bay.

Or you have people rushing to escape from Malaysia into Singapore, because their government intends to mobilize the entire population to farm palm oil:

But what I like more than listening to bias western media is seeing what Putin is doing and saying. What the nice Russian army general spokesman is saying and the Chechen leader Putin god son in Ukraine is saying and doing.

They say so much more than the western media can.

I also want a quick end to the war with Ukraine restoring all of its territory. 

But generally wars are not so clean affairs. When one side 死缠烂打 esp the bigger side, I don't think it will be so clear cut.

Yes, so life and living costs can go back to normal, please. Right now the war and it's resulting effect on energy prices is trotted out as excuse for everything to jack up price.
