It comes after Ukrainian forces took 1,000 square miles of territory in just days as part of a counter-offensive

There are reports Russian troops have abandoned tanks, weapons and supplies as they flee from the advance

Putin can change all the generals he wants

its not going to stop Russian soldiers running away.

Russia’s defense ministry acknowledged on Saturday that its forces had pulled back from the strategic city of Iziyum, claiming it had decided to “regroup” and transfer them southeast to the Donetsk region.
