Trump says it clearly, by Z is too egoistic to understand

Trump wants resources in the occupied AND non occupied area of Ukraine.

The lands are gone, either to US or to Russia

Hence I remarked if the Slavs are clearheaded enough, be united and there won’t even be a Crimea issue

Unfortunately ideology had split the Slavic civilisation

you (as in not you you) can call trump idiot but he is not stupid, well he already made clear he is going to take care of American interests and no one else, quitting UN and whatever Paris thingy, there was zero interest for US to get involved in the war unless there are advantage that he was upfront and not a hidden thing, Z is playing the high moral card that doesn't mean anything to Trump.

What wrong USA peace plan is not having a strong position before the peace negotiation. And Trump just want Zelensky to concede all Putin ask for. Likely the Kursk incursion will be for nothing. Giving up all Ukraine cards for the name sake of peace. And yet Trump may not be giving assurance of security guarantee that supposedly to tied with the mineral deal. Remember Zelensky position is Putin habitually will not honor ceasefire deals and he gave JD some examples during the heated exchange.

Which dumb ass will sign off this deal with almost no guarantee.

They make it clear here. When they accused Zelensky of no being grateful and didn't thank America, they actually meant Trump. Zelensky has multiple times shown gratitude to USA publicly.

Part of the white house statement after the heated exchange was emphasizing Zelensky is not grateful to America Trump. This whole show in the oval office was targeted for the USA audience.

Biden got bad blood with putin.

I don't know if i remember correctly.  When putin come into power.  He firt with the ideal of joining nato. I believe Biden speak out against it.( is it biden? I think its him).

Actually at the very start of the war. There was almost a peace or crease fire deal. But US and Britain urge Ukraine to fight on. Biden have alot of hand on that.

I think Yeltsin asked during Clinton's time and Putin when Obama was in power.  Not sure if Biden is behind but Germany and France probably won't agree to it as well. They want a weak Russia and that is understandable, everyone wants to be big bro.

It is hard to deny US culpability and complicity in this war, the evidences are everywhere.  Some USAID contractors (now unpaid) would have you believe otherwise.  *Shake head*

3."Speaking as a Brit, that was f**king disgusting. Vance is a f**king disrespecting prick, and Trump is a cosplay mob boss trying his best to extort a vulnerable country and bully a real president."

7."Sick to my stomach. It makes me want to wretch that such corrupt weasels are representing the American public. Putin's hand is obviously so far up their asses he's able to manipulate their mouths. I wish our leaders had 1/10 the fortitude and dedication to the people that Zelensky had."

10."Trump is trying to take gross advantage of a real hero who is trying to protect his country, and Zelensky isn't an idiot like everyone else who bows down to the grifter."

—BUSHMILLZ

"The press conference just made Zelensky look better, and I don't know how ('cause it was already bad), but it made Trump and J.D. look even worse.I feel ashamed to be a US citizen today. Supporting Ukraine in the ways I can, giving what little money I can to local Ukrainian immigrants who are sending it home."

11."People like Vance who demand respect are the ones who will never have it because they don't understand you have to earn it."

—FirmEcho5895

12."Just gonna quote my friend, 'To my US friends. Having watched how Donald Trump and J.D. Vance treated President Zelensky, all I can say is that your country is no longer a beacon of freedom. Your president is a disgrace, and so is your vice president. And by the way, no allies will ever trust you after that shameful show in the Oval Office. Trump and J.D. Vance tarnished the image of the United States in a way that will take years to fix.'"

13."Just wait for the Congressional Republicans to spin this. Get your nausea medicine ready."

—trucorsair

14."The most pathetic, shameful, un-American international public display of an American president ever. Zelensky was put in an impossible position, and every day for three years, he showed courage, character, and determination in the face of gigantic odds...while his people die in a stupid war. The fact he has to go around begging for money and help just to have to sit in front of Trump, who was given everything in life, and be disrespected is disgraceful."

16."Embarrassing for the US."

—Chairboy

"One thing to understand right now: Pretty much the whole world despises the US at this point. Zelensky is the one guy who took it to Trump's face, more so than Macron, and more so than Keir Starmer.Trump just made Zelensky the world's guy."

—2000TWLV

17."We are watching the fall of the US in real-time. It’s absolutely stunning to live through a time when the US was in a Cold War with Russia to see the president of the US now bowing down to them and helping them attain goals to help enrich and support Russia. The US leaders are a joke, and it’s disgusting."
