Zelenskyy may not be able to give away mining rights and spoils in the contested areas, else it may be better to give Donbas and Luhansk to US as a protectorate.

I suspect Trump is implementing America first policy, and Zelenskyy have no choice except to give in to any US demands

All the attacks on Zelensky is because of the refusal to sign the deal. Trump wants more than 50% of minerals, he wants the O&G and other natural resources too.

A awakening for Europe or any other countries who had underspent their defense budget because of USA presence, things can change drastically every 4 years. The friend can turn into your worst nightmare.

Maybe China bought a lot of crude oil at RMB instead of USD for that same gallon.😅

And Ukraine didn't get the full amount, but old stocks vehicles with net book value close to zero. The actual billions of dollars were used for purchasing new weapons for themselves.

Now the world knows who is the biggest Ah Long pointing a gun at Zelensky with a grossly inflated IOU and demanding to trade those papers for real resources.

Start a proxy war, sell weapons and grab all those productive lands and resources.

Most of the  slightly less than $100 Billion stays in America..

$73 Billion out of the total aid were for buying weapons for themselves. While they gave Ukraine End of Life Abrams and Bradleys that were sitting in the warehouse. And Trumps initially wants Ukriane to pay back $500Billion. Later mark down to $350 Billion, and now by their own calculation is less than $100 Billion in total with majority spent in America.

Not to mentioned partial was already paid by Russia’s reserves in Europe 

Anyway, the writing is on the wall 2 years back.

There was a point near the start Russia almost didn’t make it when their current and investment crashed, but pegging to gold and restoring confidence was about it.
