Russia was not after Ukraine for land and resource like Japan did after annexing Manchuria McDonald’s bombing draws parallel, but Indonesia post-independence is not Russia. Bombing though was an act of terrorism, we also held the perpetrators to justice without involving the British or Malaysia. ln fact, some of our own died in the jungles of Malaysia for Malaysia during the Confrontasi. Ukraine could have stopped cultural genocide of russian speakers in Ukraine, and also not join NATO It’s just that simple. Putin does not live forever.
