When Russians discover what a total ruin the war economy has been and left them decades behind economically compare to their neighbours who chose economic prosperity through peace

How can you justify this?

IMF reports Russia GDP at 3.6% for 2023, and projects 2.6% for 2024.

For the rest of Europe, it is nearly flat, or negative.

Like everything that comes out of Putin mouth the stats are all lies.

Have you been to Moscow? I have. It was a shithole. And that was before the full invasion

IMF, an Organisation whom US has the deciding vote, is a ****hole and full of lies?

How does your response help in finding the path of clarity towards solution?

Any more good ideas from your pocket?

IMF gets its stats from reporting, and its those reporting agencies that are lying.

And where is Russia revenue come from? Debt base stimulus is just winding up a bigger crash

Main thing is, the real reason Putin is threaten by Eastern Europe drifting away from them is they taste actual economic success to the west and only misery and corruption to the east

Russia's economy appears resilient, but companies are going bankrupt by the hundreds

Corporate bankruptcies in Russia rose sharply in the first two months of 2024.

Russia has imposed two moratoriums on bankruptcy in recent years, both of which have now expired.

High interest rates and macroeconomic instabilities are adding pressure on the private sector.

Russia's economy appears resilient after two years of war with Ukraine, but a rising number of companies in the country are in trouble.

The number of companies in Russia that have gone bankrupt has soared in the first two months of 2024, Russian business daily Kommersant reported on Thursday.

In January, 571 companies in Russia declared bankruptcy — a rise of 57% from 364 a year ago, Kommersant reported, citing data from the federal register for bankruptcy.

In February, 771 companies declared bankruptcy — 60% higher than the 478 that did so a year ago.

The uptick in corporate bankruptcies highlights the difficulties faced on the ground in Russia.

It also stands in contrast to the rosy official statistics the Kremlin releases, which show that Russia's GDP grew 3.6% in 2023.

U can go look up gdp growth of baltic states... at first coming out of fake soviet data their gdp appear to drop (actually it was lies published by Soviets to try to impress the west). But when they join EU their GDP shot up and only suffer once during GFC. Today they look more like Nordics than like Moscow (never mind shitty far eastern Russian provinces where they are as bad as African countries)

GDP is goods and service produced in a country.

Russia is spending like mad because the government is buying every bullet and missile and artillery shell it can make.

In fact Russian economy is overheating. Every arms factory cannot make enough and working overtime.

But its not consumer goods and service they are producing.

So high GDP means what?

Better living standards or all the resources being sent to Ukraine to be blown up?

:D

My own GDP also very high like Russia.

I am working every minute to sell cars and rub young ladies

to earn as much money as I can to pay for MIL Japan holiday debts.

So I must be doing well too!

Just like Russia.

Just like China manufactured GDP figures.

Even Li Keqiang doesn't believe in China's GDP and came out with his own Li Keqiang Index.

He used bank lending, electricity consumption and rail cargo!

Unfortunately USA cannot manufacture their own GDP

or my BFF Trump would like to give himself 10% GDP growth every year of his presidency.

Trump also couldn't give himself votes so he would beat Biden although he did try!

So funny China supporters tried to prove Russian GDP is real and now we all know Russian GDP as fake as China's

and as a bonus prove USA GDP cannot be faked!

Much as my BFF Trump would love to lie about the USA GDP!

Russia lies, China lies

but poor Trump in USA cannot lie about GDP or winning the election

and that he got more votes than Biden.

There is a problem with some adults or "pseudo" adults in this forum.

As a bunch of car-owning elite, whom probably belongs to only top 30% of the population, the seemingly absence of critical thinking is baffling.

Without getting into the fact-checking debate, I can assure you the generalisation of the population here being "car owning" is merely one aspect of demographics - we are predominantly old, retired or close to retiring, mostly male (except for that used car dealer/masseuse who identifies as a lesbian trapped in a man's body), having grown up on main stream media and information from school and public libraries and witnessed the birth of mainstream internet, heard the bits and bauds of a dial-up modem...... calling the guys here merely "car-owning" doesn't really give the full picture.

Am certain most of the fellows here are not in the young and impressionable segment, neither are they living hand to mouth

To pick an off-point to lambast at is certainly not why some peeps are keen to to n fro on this thread.

It has been 2 years since the invasion.

like to hear from this segment, mature, moderately self sufficient, gone through fax and telegram even, taken a lot more salt in their lives, hence the High blood pressure, what is a feasible plan of action to create a condition for the end of this war

This is what I posed to to Yishunite, and he did a Biden.

Go nuclear to destroy Russia’s economy, and so far, the proof is in the pudding.
