He distinguished himself and was supposed to head the army, but he is actually Russian born and felt it would be more appropriate that someone else take the job. and thus he recommended zaluchny... actually his junior back then. Ender Hypersonic February 9 Share February 9 (edited) The whole interview. It's the first of Putin interview to the western world, since the invasion. It's 2 hour long, I don't have the patience to watch the whole interview. I will have to rely on pro Ukr or Russ channel to post the interesting portion.
