I believe so, too, especially with omicron which is a milder variant. But so far the PRC govt has not been able to take the daring step of opening up, since actually they do have a large proportion of vaccinated population (vs situation in HK), even though it is mostly home-grown sinovac or sinopharm , and should be able to weather the wave of infections.

Anyway based on recent figures they may not have a choice. Genie is out of the bottle already and numbers will keep climbing once reach a critical mass.

Dynamic Zero will be the policy for 2022.

I think we all need to understand that covid vaccines mainly works by increasing your immunity's ability to fight against the virus. Not to prevent infection.

Actually singapore also adopt zero covid strategy just like european but try to control but cannot, the number getting bigger so change strategy not because they don’t want zero covid, its cause they cant

mRNA is so good that need 4 shots.

Might as well save your money

and give 4 shots of Sinovac or Sinopharm!

No countries can do a zero covid strategy as per the strategy tittle, it was never ever successful! many have tried and to admit It cannot be done and move on. Some live in denial because of one person ego and “face “issue and insist they can have and live in a zero covid strategy,  but cities always lockdown and still have covid……and was never Zero as per their claim!

They have move to Dynamic Zero. It will lock down apartment block but not citywide lock down.

There is nothing more important than 20 big in Autumn.
