Electric max out at 180kmh. 2020 cars that are ICE 2.0 liter max out at 270kmh Count the percentage of time you spend above 180kmh in comparison to your entire journey on the NSHW? The NSH is neither a drag strip nor the autobahn where drivers know to keep left and there aren't any speed enforcement. An EV is always in the correct (single) gear that all its torque is delivered immediately if you wish to overtake. An ICE still takes longer to increase speed from a steady cruise - gearbox to downshift, engine to enter its torque band, etc. etc. ↡ Advertisement 3
inlinesix Hypersonic March 4 Share March 4 For NSHW, the best car to drive is Ford Ranger Raptor. Set ACC to 140km/h. When encounter turtle, just accelerate enough for ACC to take over. Once ACC take over, turtle confirm fast hand fast leg go 1 side.

Think only Tesla can fight the Chinese in next few years with its integrated model. In SG context, the differential between the 6s i4 edrive35 with a 67kwh battery and the 3.8s fully loaded Seal with a 82.6 kwh battery is a whopping $75k. It is pretty glaring given the specs. tested both and can attest to what you stated. The handing/drive/fit and finish of the i4 edrive35 just edge out the Seal dual motor by a smidge.....but this smidge is not worth the $75k to be absolutely honest. If I am convinced of EV, the seal will be my choice for sure.

This is based on their price list which is $215k for Premium with guarantee COE. If the same gap is maintain, that means $195k for Dynamic with guarantee COE.

I haven't been able to test drive the Seal 3.8 Performance variant, went to 2 dealerships and only the Premium variant is available for test drive. Can share which AD you went to? Thanks. Tohto Hypersonic June 15 Share June 15 Only in Singapore. Every car must detuned to Cat A. Really sad. For this car, minimum must at least the Seal Premium model. 3

More than adequate for city driving. I test drove the premium version and felt uneasy. The power came on too fast, too quiet.. Maybe im the minority hum ji driver lol.. But anyway, $179K (Guaranteed COE) for the Cat A Seal, if anyone of you are curious. Can find find yr preferred SE haha.. I'm stil waiting for the new Ioniq5... That's why power came too fast. I test drove Tesla Model 3 previously. Need to learn to feather throttle. For 100kw, keep to lane 2 of Expressway. You will have problem overtaking on lane 1. Test drive X1 and see for yourself.

For this car, minimum must at least the Seal Premium model. With the introduction of all these detuned Cat A EVs, Cat A COE is going to match that of Cat B very soon. LTA are either sleeping or still "monitoring the situation"... Lai lai, let me give LTA a suggestion. Just have 1 single COE cat for all new vehicles. <1,600 cc pay 1x the premium >1,600 cc pay 1.2x the premium EV pay 0.8x the premium (the extra road tax will well cover the lost in COE) Commercial vehicle pay 0.6x the premium Motorcycle pays 0.2x the premium So simple... ↡ Advertisement 5 1
