See how many electricity meter you have will know.

2 meter is 3 phase.

I see 3 grid boxes inside my meter box so i assume each one is one phase.

in terms of meter showing the digital reading, i only have one big one

I believe i have a 3 phasepower since my first A&A in 2008 already

but how many KW i dont know

The limitations is from the Distribution Box to the power point where you want the charger to be. So you will need 4 x new cables (30A each for the 3 phases and one for Neutral) that can take the load. Plus earth cable.

Home charging i dont think can do DC. And i wont need 50kwh

10kwh should be just nice.  Overnight charging.

this are the things to consider before i go EV.

knowing SG, it may simply be pointless at the end of the day

First, you have to know if you have single-phase or 3-phase supply at your property.

If there is 3-phase, then it will be possible to do 11kW AC charging (and even up to 22kW AC charging for some home chargers).

You should get the 22kW to future proof, as I'm sure later models of EV will be able to do 22kW AC as standard. Now, the norm is 11kW AC.

Definitely not single phase .  I recall 3 phase upgraded since 2008/9  when i did my first construction.

Must see what is the cost of installing the charging point.

Ok, i dont understand any of this.

but if they need to dig here and there and knock here and there and everywhere, then its probably a no go.

It is either hidden wire or exposed with cable trucking

You can check with Quickcharge. Their aurora 7kW is only $1680 excl installation. Approved by EMA.
my place is single phase 32A but I lower the amperage to 16A on the Polestar when charging, just to be safe. Seriously it is more than enough. 30% - 80% takes me about 12 hours I think. 7pm to 7am once every 5 days.

For EV owners I would actually question the need for personal charger. Find a public 50kW DC charger, charge 10-80% in one hour during lunch. No upfront cost, no need to get LEW to check every quarter (EMA requirement).

I guess its all about certainty and control.
this car is for my wife to do groceries, pick the children so it should be as easy to manage as pump petrol at the station just outside my estate.

Little chance of one hour lunch outside to park and charge.  maybe the family lunch on a weekend, possible.

you using a portable cable?

My charging looks set to be at Sentosa as that is my regular place. Not too far off the city and a quick lunch would charge the car 50% liao
