Tender opens: Monday, 7 March 2022, 12 noon
Tender closes: Wednesday, 9 March 2022, 4.00 pm
Tender results: Wednesday, 9 March 2022 (Available on the www.onemotoring.lta.gov.sg website)

The total quota available for this tender is 1,753 for the following vehicle categories:

NON-TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES
Category A : Cars (up to 1600cc & 97kW (130bhp)) => 531
Category B : Cars (above 1600cc or 97kW (130bhp)) => 551
Category D : Motorcycles => 405

TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES
Category C : Goods Vehicles and Buses => 76
Category E : Open Category => 190

Seeking advice from forum vets. Does it make sense to trade in my car for a new ride now(where my trade in price will be higher during this high COE period), or is it better to wait for a lower COE price (altho my trade in price will be lower)? Thanks in advance!

Trade in goes into your loan 🤣.It's as much of a scam as the COE.

For me, lower COE is the best.

 

When COE rises, the trade-in price won't rise by the same magnitude because of depreciation.  2nd hand side may just offer paper + a few Ks
