This is for Reservist ICT. 

Currently, assuming you earn $5000 in civilian life and goes for 2 week ICT:

• Govt will pay $2500 to your company. Your company will continue paying you your $5000 salary for that mth.
• Govt will pay you service pay depending on your rank. This is on top of your $5000 civilian salary. If you are 3rd Sgt, you get $445. Chao pte gets less. Ocifer gets more.

But if you are unemployed, you only get $445 of service pay.

Going forward, if you are employed and earns more than $1600 per mth, then no change. But if you earn less than $1600, then you get $800 (already prorated to 2 weeks of ICT).

I believe this move is to cater for the larger number of gig workers now in the work force.

Don't think so. We are under mindef reserve but still get the nsman relief for income tax. Lol.

ok la.. adjust for inflation... but degree expire in 5 years is tmd. like that might as well get degree mill online degree.. no expiry and faster
