This is my speculation lah. I have no inside info whatsoever

The entity that bought SGCM is Toyota Financial Services. Their business is in car loan and financing. My guess is that they want SGCM's data on car buying and selling in Singapore to help with their business.

The content and forum stuff I think they'll probably leave alone.
