Best and Worse Valentine's Day?

It's the day that some dread, others long for, and to others, just another day with no special meaning...

Too commercial, too hyped, too much pressure, or a chance to tell someone about how you feel?

My worse one was the year this girl I liked, sent her friend instead and gave me a cactus... 

At least, I grew it till it was as tall as I, and it even flowered...

 

You could say I'm having a good day, with one babe who has just turned two weeks old 🙂 

 

 

I had a friend, who proudly announced he had a date on the day, and brandished his flowers, which must have cost a pretty penny... another classmate promptly stealthily opened the box and pulled out all the petals....  

But don't be like me, I once prepared a Ikea vase, filled it with different layers of colored stones, flowers and decor, and all the girl said was: "but the flowers are dead" and then ITE: it's the end...

Either celebrate it or ignore it and then bring the girl out on a different day for far less money

Wanted to get something for my much better half earlier...walked away immediately when told about the hefty price tag that cums along with the item. 

Did a quick mental calculation on how much it would cost me if I diy for that similar item while walking to the mrt...6 times cheaper!...my next rekindle passion project starts tomorrow...😁

But of course, got her a chiam see tong item before I reach home...otherwise, no dinner let alone supper in bed 😂

V.Day is overrated and commercialised. A bouquet of roses cost $200+. 

I rather spent that money on a meal with my wife which I did and it didnt cost so much.

Yes but most probably you paid 30 to 50 percent more on that meal because it was v-day.
