Parking Rate at Queensway Shopping Centre

Left Funan at around 4.04pm today and drove over to Queensway Shopping Centre.

Exited Queensway shopping centre at around 6.20pm and was surprised by the parking charge of $8+.

The above info was retrieved from my cashcard.

Based on the following parking rate, should it be much lesser? If it was overcharged, how can I claim the difference from the shopping centre?

The rates I think is $1.92 for 1st hour and $1.71 every 30 mins thereafter until 5:59pm, then $3.53 per entry after 6pm.

so if you reach before 4:30pm, it’s about there.

Yours is outdated.

Many website is showing this rate(see link) but something wrong is going on with their carpark.

https://www.sgcarmart.com/news/carpark_index.php?ID=221&LOC=&TYP=carpark&SRH=

They overcharge ppl. I also dont park there. The carpark is very very lok kok and the lots are extremely narrow. There are many carparks around that area. For extremely lazy ppl who dont want to walk a little they will end up paying a lot for parking.

Overcharge ppl is not only I say wan.

Thanks guys for the updated rates.

If based on the updated rates, it should add up to the $8+ paid and it has clarified my query.

Thanks and thread is closed for now.

The nearest one should be Alexandra  village , park and walk across the road.

AV hawker centre side limited parking lots and always full if go during meals timing. If ok to walk a bit further, can park at Stirling Rd hdb or ABC food centre that hdb carpark. More lots available.

If i go on a sun, i will park at stirling hdb MSCP cause free parking. On a sat, depends what time, if during off peak, then might try the AV carpark or ABC food centre carpark.
