My layman calculation. That flat probably cost $60k 30 years ago? So the inflation cost it to increase by $10k a year? Unless salary match that increase, otherwise he will be slave his entire life just to that roof over his head with nothing for retirement. Wrong calculation?

no wonder, they are not real brothers.  Cos 1 guy sibei keh kiang style, the other guy is sibei ter gong style.  Very different.
