Probably highly litigatous countries like the US. If already hit legal limit and still lose control of of the car, the tire manufacturer ass is covered. Recommend change limit is for the manufacturer's bottomline.

legal is typically 1.6mm. but for SG with the ponding and amount of rain we have . it will be good to have approx 3mm as min depth for better water evacuation.

Just found out there are different types of PS4...there's also one specifically for SUV as well. 😅

PS4, PS4S, PS4 SUV. Is it the same for PS5 with different variants? 

The patterns are similar but different. Found these photos off the net and carousell...

PS4 should be fighting with Bridgestone S007 or Sports. Alenza is thier flagship SUV tyres.

Being a BS fans, I will choose Alenza. 🙂

But then money talks lah. hahaha. I go tyre shop they say which one cheaper i will choose which one also. hahahahah

sorry for not being clearer. The PS4 mentioned is PS4 SUV that should be comparable to BS Alenza.

i suspect BS is quieter though.

My suv stock tires were Alenza AL33. Now I am on PS4 suv, this is the so called performance tires and I like it. The Alenza is more comfort...I dunno I dont like BS. My fav brand has always been Michelin. LoL...

Anyway the price diff was $40/tire with the Alenza being the cheaper one. I was also quoted the premacy4 which is priced in between the Alenza and PS4. Tire supplier is eng wah.

You can always ask for more quotes. Mine are 18". Prices are about 6months ago. I dunno now.

Ever had 19" pirelli scorpion Verde mounted on a heavy SUV...very impressed with everything...could kup cornor, brake in wet, chiong in wet with full confidence...price wise, I donno...had it for less than a year 😁

to muddle things up more, there's also a PS4 ST (made in Thai) for Asia mkt. the PS4 is made in Europe.

What does ST stands for? I know Made in Europe also have from Hungary, Spain etc

Alenza is a touring/comfort tyre. It is designed to be quiet and comfy one.

PS4 on the other hand is performance in mind, sure have some shortcoming if you want it to be luxurous.
