After 2 years and 42,000km on my F1A6s, it was time for a change.

Compared to 2 years ago, there are a lot more choices in the market today. Did a lot of research and a strong alternative to the F1A6 in terms of price and performance is the Conti Premium Contact 7. In most of the reviews, there is very little separating the two. But in the end, I decided to change to another set of F1A6s.

What impressed me was the longevity of the tyres. Even when it was worn down towards it's end of life, the braking performance in both wet and dry was still good; close to when they were new, obviously not on par. As with most modern tyres, they do get a lot noisier as it wears down, handling becomes somewhat tardy and steering feel becomes heavier.

It's definitely good value as a performance tyre in my personal experience.

How much and what size? I’m looking for 225/45/18. Best quote so far is $780 from apex, I asked Yap brothers if they could beat them but they said they can only match same price.
