Almost forgotten.

Take plenty of photos and videos and label the folders by chronological order or by date.

Create sub folders within each as selected photos/videos. Only choose a handful photos that represent that age.

For me the 1st 3 years have a monthly photo shoots.... subsequently are by events/outings and birthdays, all individual portraits.

I saved travels and excursions separately as family photos.

So when grown up have a properly documented growing up library of memories.

Before Birth.

Document the growth on a weekly basis on your wife.

It create the bond between the kid and the mum....as well as you and wife.

Oh yes:

First trimester - morning sickness and no announcements till the pregnancy is stable

Second trimester - Babymoon period. Things are stable and baby isn't too big as to cause mobility problem. Go on a trip (if VTL allows), and enjoy your last moments of 2 person life

Third trimester - ready your Go bag, wife is like a whale, just wait and plan, and plan and wait.

Sleep, change diaper, sleep, feed or prepare milk, sleep, change diaper, sleep, feed or prepare milk, sleep, ...

same pattern for at least few months...without any of those multi patterns to make an angel...😁

But fret not, the bundle of joy more than make up for the lost sleep, bad smell, football, mahjong...😂

Congrats !

The first 3 yr of my journey so far is dealing with milk powder and diapers. They cost a bomb, but I manage to bring the costs down, and he's still turning out to be a bouncing, healthy boy. 😀

You invested in a cow? 😁

Congrats!

Plan which primary school to go already? 🤔🥸😳

😂😂😂😂 Kidding. Dun fret. These days the stress is on parents to pass exams, not the young one. Oops.

So much to look forward to and am excited for you. Losing sleep is going to be a norm for a few years.

A new chapter to be young again, at heart also great.

Take care and wishing you and wifey a wonderful parenthood, the young child a blessed life always filled with love.

Cheers 🍻
