It's a shame. The Ariya is actually a nice EV that's properly built to Japanese high quality standard, unlike many of the China-made EVs now running around.

Should never have changed the name Datsun.

That name had so much brand equity.

Datsun was one of the most loved cars in the world.

So many people first family car was a Datsun.

The V6 Cefiros had lovely engines, but very thirsty. The 3.5l was the best, but the 2.0l too was also creamy smooth and quiet.  The Cefiros were let down by too softly sprung suspensions. Wanted to buy one but during the test drive, the body roll made me change my mind.

Talking about the Bluebird, it was a worthy rival to the Toyota Corona and the Accord. The Accord was the king of the Japanese 1.6l cars in the late 70s, early 80s.

I remember that in 2002, that new V6 Cefiro let me speed when I got stomachache, rushing for toilet, and I got caught in BKE. :dizzy:

Ever since, I got my clean records till now. That car was hell smooth :pissed-off:

The bluebird with 135hp from the 1.8L certainly didn’t feel like it. Maybe the auto box sapped the power
