Is this still a good time to buy the Q50 now that the dealership has ceased operations in Singapore?

Hi to all Q50 owners here 🙂 I’m thinking of getting a resale 2018 Q50 but had came to know that from July 21 onward, Infiniti showroom in SG crease operation. So any issues for spare parts in the future or we can easily can OEM parts in workshop. Hope someone can help on the above question, thank you.

my concern for spare parts will be 4 to 5 years down the road when your car wear and tear needs the parts will outside workshop still be able to easily get the parts for you? Unless you go back to Wearnes, Will sure be expensive . For spare parts Maybe yes because Nissan spare parts still be able to source locally  but I dunno.

my previous experience with owning an Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 manual , I import all my parts needed from Germany myself! Took about 1 week for DHL but still worth it as AD repairs and spare parts cost cut throat, and at time AD also no stock need to wait for spare parts then I might as well do myself right ? Save money too

Q50 is Frankenstein product with Nissan body and Merc engine/gearbox.

I believe you can still get parts later but only if you have a capable workshop who can positively ID the correct Nissan/Merc part to indent and use.

Infiniti M'sia still in operation what but the dealer is in KL. The dealer is Tan Chong. It is a bit far with most of the AD workshops in KL. Other non authorised car workshops in JB should be able to get parts? You gotto ask around.

Or you can request for the M'sia dealer to ship the part that you need to Sgp and then you find a local workshop to do the replacement.

Not selling anymore doesnt mean dont support service. The workshops are mostly called TC auto repair and service. They are the distributor for Nissan, Subaru and Infiniti so I think they will service these car makes.

There is one in Johor. https://www.google.com/maps/dir//1.529059,103.816684/@1.5290182,103.7465897,12z
