CAT A is about the same level as 2016 and 2017, but i notice car prices are so much higher now. Reason being AD are putting higher margin now. Terrible.

Maybe there are other factors that contribute to the higher car price now, even though the coe is same level?!

Rising cost and material shortage is contributing to the higher prices everywhere....

At least you no need to worry for the next 8 years la, whether it is new or coe car doesnt matter much lo. If the car still can serve you well.

You still got chance to change car now, since cat A around the same level as your current car, before the current coe increase higher, if you stil plan to buy a cat A car. Lol.

No need lah. Car still drivable and fully paid. Just save the money and use it for lump sum when really need to change car.

see bubbles anyone?

Not really because the resale price of car can be manipulated by COE quota, supply demand. Because in reality there are still needs for cars to a certain extend so if supply Low car price will never crash ( remember COE high 2nd hand car price also rise) plus look at the growth in deposit in Singaporean bank accounts over the last 10 years! ( for those who are still buying cars and property)

Hope you have changed or scrapped your car, otherwise you might get trapped in the high COE cycle .

It is illegal for a Singaporean man to marry a second wife overseas... But I think many uncles still have another illegal wife in Batam/Bintan.

Esp those taken their CPF...but these 2 Years, lesser due to Covid, cannot go Batam easily.
