A lot of times, bus drivers may not see ole ppl especially those that have mobility problem.

It is time to change our traffic lights with increase in silver hair citizens.

Whenever I see unaccompanied senior with mobility issue, I will accompany them to complete their crossing.

If necessary, i will tell driver to stop.

I live in Silver Zone hor.

These days when I see pedestrians at dedicated signal crossing (not junction) and they press the button but don't wait for green man to cross, I scold them. I tell them if you not going to wait,then don't press.

As a driver it pisses me off to stop at red light pedestrian crossings and no one around crossing.

Agreed but i dare not scold them! whahahahaha..

actually with modern electronics LTA can always synchronize the dedicated signal crossing to the main junction.. the pedestrian sole purpose is to request and such electronics/algorithm is to sync it to the main junction for a smoother flow.. i hate it when the button spoil or in a high human traffic such crossing light just green n green 

btw prolonging the green man for elderly closing can be a double edge sword.. some old people see the green timing so long think they still can beat the green man.. false sense of safety..
