With the shift from pandemic to endemic and a return to the office, the probability of getting infected in the public transport system is higher.  There is a good chance that more people will opt for private cars and motorcycles and this leads to higher demand and price for COE.

Could be true since people might now consider to drive than taking public transport if can afford. So coe should continue to be on the high side.

Sure to upz and hit $50+k:

1) Opening up regardless of covid cases, no more long-term WFH already

2) Backlog from 3 weeks demand

3) Ghost month over

4) The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) on Wednesday (Aug 11) upgraded its gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast range for 2021 to 6 per cent to 7 per cent. People are richer and willing to spend.

5) Still cannot travel overseas = nowhere to spend money, just spend on car la !
