Not exactly near.  It's at the Cross junction near khatib MRT Station.  The four sides are the PCN, entrance to the place where you can catch prawns, the condo and the reservoir.

I was at the junction jogging up towards mandai when I saw the snake.

Lucky there were no cyclist rushing down that pavement.

Looks like too many excavation works that snakes more often appear on pavement and road side, even for cobra.

Another time, I was walking with my friend on the boardwalk from labrador mrt to labrador park when I was looking at my friend when I saw two snakes crawling on the guardrail behind him.

I have a phobia of snakes.  I admit it.  So I screamed  "snake snake snake."  He jumped.  Whirled around but the snakes disappeared already.

Then later I joke with him maybe I was pulling a prank on him just to scare him.  He is a doctor.  He told me," "come on, your eyes widened, pupils dilated, the pulse on your neck sped up and became so obvious, you were definitely scared.."

I was like okok, glad someone was looking at the pupils of my eyes and looking at my pulse on the neck...

Is Mynah considered wild life?

The other day, when I went to dapao lunch, as I walked through a town park, a mynah dropped from the sky in front of me. It was still alive and I pushed it on to the grass verge. I don't know if it survived!

Errr, who doesnt scare snakes? Thats why when walk in nature reserve, might have chance to bump onto snake, if you happen to appear at the sametime as the snake who also appeared on the path. Although by right most of the time those snakes should be harmless, unless you step onto them! Lol.

This lovely small  bird came and rested on my potted flower  again, I extended my awning just to protect him from rain. Hope he will have  a peaceful sleep tonight😄
