People that sell new cars are evil.

Cause their new owners so much stress!

Must park single lot lah, And dents or scratches heart pain!

I sell used cars people so happy! Park anywhere, no need single lots.

Let them MIL eat in their cars. A bit of rain and car get wet or dirty no need faster find covered parking.

If anyone buy new expensive car and kenna accident and feel bad its your own fault!

If you bough a  jamesc affordable used car you don't feel bad!

:D

Depression is a long process.  Nothing can help the patient other than the patient themselves.

Helpline is never manned by Professional

Yes, professional help is very important. If he could help himself, then no problem liao. But professional are expensive. Without, chances are very slim and difficult. Spiral down the deep end without having a helping arm.

Is it possible to remove the source of depression, if it is indeed serious? If it's a job, quit the job. If it's family members, cut them off. Sometimes a total change in the environment helps, take a long break, travelling on the cheap.

People with depression didn't know they are the problem but everything else are. Something like 1 track mind, no way to reason with them. Professional are trained but you do need the patient to come forward. By making a free phone call definitely won't solve it for a more serious case. Each time after talking, he seems better but 2 weeks later, situation didn't change at all. Everything is repeated. So, professional help is indeed needed. Any lobang for assistance?

Professional help is to ensure that condition doesn't get worse off.

professional can only do this much, they are not with the patient 24/7, more important is the support from family and friends. However family and friends must also have the patience and skill to handle the person, and not simply brush off with straight answer or reply.

People misunderstood that professional psychologist or counselor as if they can open the person's brain and cure their mental/emotional issues.

Singapore to put in place measures to deal with screen time and device use in coming months

“We will finalise and announce these initiatives in the coming few months.”

Their comments come after United States surgeon-general Vivek Murthy recently called for a warning label on social media platforms for young users, arguing that social media is associated with mental health harms for adolescents."

About time. This is why I never use social media accounts since it started two decades ago.
